Spring Bank Holiday 2023
Ashtons is not able to deliver on the Spring bank holiday, Monday 29th May 2023.
Normal service will resume for all orders placed from Tuesday 30th May.
Our staff will be working closely with our couriers during the Bank Holiday period to ensure deliveries through to the Spring Bank Holiday, however national couriers experience pressure from large volumes of orders over bank holiday periods and this is currently exacerbated because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our staff will also be available to organise emergency deliveries - if you require this service, details are outlined below.
Ordering medication during Bank Holidays
Please remember to identify all your medication and medical supplies requirements well in advance of the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. This is vitally important to ensure you do not run out of medication.
Orders you should place well in advance include:
- Fridge lines
- Leave and discharge medication (TTOs)
- Named Patient Supplies

- Thursday 25th May - Deliveries
- Friday 26th May - Deliveries
- Saturday 27th May - Deliveries*
- Sunday 28th May - NO DELIVERIES
- Monday 29th May - NO DELIVERIES (SPRING BANK HOLIDAY)
- Tuesday 30th May - NO DELIVERIES
- Wednesday 31st May - Deliveries
*Saturday deliveries are only available if you have them as part of your contract.

Emergency Out-of-hours service
If you have an urgent request while Ashtons is closed, please telephone 0345 222 3550 and you will be diverted to a pharmacist on call who will be able to deal with your requirements. Emergency deliveries out-of-hours are also possible, but there will be an extra charge for this service
